South Seas Club offers visitors a unique opportunity to visit a beach designated as a “Critical Wildlife Area”. On our beaches, endangered loggerhead turtles return to nest from May 1 to November 1. They lay approximately 80 to 100 eggs per nest. They return every two weeks to create another nest. It takes 1000 hatchlings to have one loggerhead turtle reach maturity and return to Marco Island.
All condos are required to shut off lights or close room darkening blinds by 9:00 pm. A fine of $500.00 per night may be assessed for violations.
Any fines imposed for this violation will be directly billed to the owner and may be passed on to renters.
